Ducks 3-2
Kings 2-0
Sharks 7-4
Coyotes 5-2 (A surprise win!)
The Bruins home record is 9-5-1 (W-L-OT), their away record is 6-7-0.
I don't know what it is about being on the road that makes it impossible for the Bruins to come out with a win, but they have been struggling lately. The six teams that they have beat on the road were the Red Wings, the Maple Leafs, the Blue Jackets, the Sabres twice, and the Coyotes last nigtht. There's talk of trades in the air with this losing streak (which was broken with last nights win) and I've heard names such as Eberle and Carcillo. I for one would love to add Jordan Eberle to the Bruins, Carcillo however is someone I would despise having on team. I guess we will wait and see. I do think something needs to change because the Bruins are just not impressing me right now. Even though they beat the Coyotes the other night, they fell flat in the third period. There is still no timetable for Chara and Krejci's return.
One the bright side, I am going to the Bruins/Blackhawks game on Thursday!
The Hawks are riding a six game winning streak at the moment and it doesn't seem like they're cooling down anytime soon. The Bruins do not play again until Thursday so with four days off I'm hoping they can get their act together. They're going to need to be on their A game facing the red hot Hawks. Either way it should be a good game and I'll be there to see every second of it!
